STREAM: Fugue’s New EP “YEARS”

If you follow Hearwax at all, you may remember a stream we featured last summer – Fugue‘s Siblings EP. Not only was it a collection of four fantastic instrumental tracks, but it featured “Sirens”, one of my favourite songs of 2010.

If you got into that release, you will be happy to see that the awesome guys in Fugue sent us their new EP, YEARS. It is another four-track outing that follows the same trend as its predecessor, but also sees the band expanding in all aspects of their craft.

Whether it because the band agrees with me or not doesn’t really matter – all four tracks on YEARS all reach into emotional territory, with the seven-minute “Vermillion Bird of the South” taking centre stage.

YEARS is another phenomenal output from Fugue. This is required listening for all.

You can stream the record down below.

1. Azure Dragon of the East
2. Vermillion Bird of the South
3. White Tiger of the West
4. Black Tortoise of the North
