Greymachine streaming new album

The same effort that brought Justin Broadrick (Napalm Death, Godflesh, Jesu) and Aaron Turner (Isis, Old Man Gloom, The Lotus Eaters) together, is streaming the band’s debut release, Disconnected, in its entirety here.

One wouldn’t expect any less from the likes of Broadrick and Turner, but Disconnected features some of the most aggressive and well-written extreme music so far in 2009, fusing the noise/industrial elements of Godflesh and the grimy sludge of Isis.

This is by far one of the best releases this year. It's above and beyond what I expected.

Plus, I don't really see the Godflesh comparison.. Yeah, it's industrial-sounding, but this is more akin to a structured Merzbow or Masonna than the industrial tinges of Streetcleaner era Godflesh.

Hahaha!!! Not a reflection on you, dude!! A lot of people are comparing it to Godflesh, even Broadrick. Just saying that even though the members of the band are saying it sounds like Streetcleaner, it becomes its own thing that (in my opinion) surpasses it.

A lot of people don't seem into it, but it's incredible. It reminds me of a lot of industrial and aggrotech stuff I used to listen to, in how aggressive it is, yet it's so dark and atmospheric at the same time.
