I never gave this album a chance really. I can identify with the lack of re-playability for most russian circles releases. I always find myself loving it after the first listen, but bored some time into the second time. It's one of those bands I have to take vacations from and then revisit. After my first listen, I liked this album, but it's so disjointed and pretentious that it hurts at times. There are a lot of really cool ideas present, but I always feel like they get suffocated in mediocrity. If this band would put their ego aside, they could release a pretty killer album, and I'll probably check out their next couple releases. I still will even listen to Rareform, even though I acknowledge it's downfalls. The Re-Issue thing is just ludicrous though.
